The Art of Social Media: Power Tips for Power Users, Guy Kawasaki
1. The general theme was to enable a business person to excel on social media and to gain attention through it.
2. Though a lot of the tips and concepts were pretty stright forward for how to act and what to do on social media, there were some parts that had me stop because it felt like Chris Pryor's classroom of tips. Make a plan, determine your audience, how you're going to profit, how you're going to execute the plan. There was a good bit that felt like class material, just mixed in with social media.
3. I feel, after reading this book, one could take an attempt at creating an entire web page. But overall, that would be a bit much to do for a single exercise in this class. The book goes really in depth about how to do certain things. The explain how to complete your profile page and how large your image should be whether for the header or for your personal/company logo.
4. The book takes it a step further than just social media. Yeah, the point is on social media, but the point for a business is to capture an audience and then take it further to gain customers. Guy Kawasaki introduces you to how to spread attention on events you're hosting or attending. It discuses the importance of hashtags and the network band to allow people to access their social media sites to talk about your event while attending.
The book discusses about many typical things that people in business should already know, but there are always people out there.

Chang Army Logo
This is my text logo that is used as the background to my youtube channel. I used a multitude of different brushes called "paint splatter" or "brush strokes" in red, laid over the top of one another to make the amazing background for the text. To get the parts of the paint in yellow i made a new layer and then put an overlay gradient with spots of yellow on it. The lines behind the texts are brush strokes made using the pen tool, and the text just a thick lettered font colored white with multiple "paint splatter" brushes in it and some shadowing and highlighting using the blending options tool.
This is the picture i used for my profile picture. It was also used in the superhero assignment.
This is the T-shirt with all of the components put in to one item that fits all sizes! It is a picture of a long sleeve T-Shirt that i put everything onto. The text logo in the center of the project, the sponsors are "Counter Strike." A first person shooter who's logo is placed on the top right hand sleeve. The "League of legends" logo is featured at the bottom left hand corner of the shirt, as to still be a focus but not pull too much attention away from the main art. The Chang Army logo is placed on the bottom of the right hand sleeve and may or may not be taken off or revised for the channel at a later date.
This is the logo i created using the mouse cord to make the "c" for chang and the highlighted buttons in the keyboard to shape the "a" for army.

Super Hero
This is my super hero project. It contains a picture of myself, one in the background and one in the foreground. The superhero's name is The CropDuster and his powers include ripening fruit, vegetables etc. and shooting balls of energy that look like small earths. The background photo of me is a close up that utilized the hue and saturation tool, paintbrush tool, and seperating the shades of light on my face. The foreground photo is simply a picture of me in the famous "kame-hame-ha" stance from Dragon Ball Z's Goku. In this project i learned how to create a paint brush preset, which is how i printed the words on my face and in the white area behind it.

The CropDuster Origin Story
The CropDuster as a child around fifth grade was "one of the cool kids" in school, and a bit of a bully. One day on a field trip him and a bunch of his friends decided it would be fun to mess with one of the nerds. Him and the other fifth grade kids decided to put the nerd into the tomato truck. It ruined the nerds life and forced him to evil. The nerd vowed to destroy all crops in the northern Idaho area, and feeling responsible for his actions, the young cropduster vowed to protect all crops, beans and potatoes alike, in the Northern Idaho area.

Doodle For Google
Well, my doodle is called Google food +, it is about a gun, made by google, that increases
the size of food by 200 times. this was intended to be used to end world hunger. So, i made
the word google out of food, the G is a pretzel, the first o is a donut, the next one is a bagel, the g is a piece of pasta, the l is an ice popsicle, and the e is a burger. The reason the plus is there is because you must log in to your google plus account to use the gun.

Super Selections
This is my super selections project. Everything turned out exceptionally eel except for the bottom middle and middle right quadrants. When selected and masked, no matter how selected whether via cool range or quick selection the mask would appear opaque instead of clear so i decided not to mask them at all because me, you and many of my class mates could not understand nor fix the problem. But aside from those two areas the project turned out perfectly.
